Monster is the largest ever investment at the park in Sweden, at a total cost of 450 million Swedish Krona (44 million Euros). It is amazing how Gröna Lund manages to fit all the rides they have into such a small area.

Gröna Lund Monster / Grona Lund Sets Opening Date For

Insane. Gröna Lund has a great assortment of classic children’s and family rides outside of its roller coasters and tower attractions. From a traditional wave swinger to several interesting dark rides to a kiddie coaster and a variety of spinning rides, those with less intrepid guests will still be able to find rides that appeal to them. A new ride, Monster – King of Roller Coasters, will open on April 24, 2021, at Gröna Lund in Sweden. Bolliger & Mabillard have designed the new inverted steel coaster for the 138-year-old waterfront amusement park. A large refurbishment project.

Nyligen har det byggts ett nytt hotell för 30 miljoner kronor och ett interaktivt spökhus, ”Dark Ride” i Furuviksparken. Gröna Lund guests are winched to the top of the ride’s 95m (310ft) tower before the gondola is tilting forward more than 90 degrees. Then comes the drop, at 90 km/h. Management reckons the new attraction is “definitely be the scariest white-knuckle ride” in park’s 134 year history.
